Today BBRC will be hosting some of the local high school DECA students ahead of their state championships, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Friday March 6th. They will be making their presentations to us and we in turn can give them constructive feedback to assist them in perfecting their presentations.

DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) is an association that encourages the development of business and leadership skills through academic conferences and competitions.

BBRC financial support will be instrumental in getting 18 students from the (5) Bellevue high schools to the State competition where they will have the opportunity to qualify for the International State Career Development Conference, to be held in Nashville TN on the  29th April thru May 2nd 2020. About the Speaker

Lori Hairston is the Executive Director for Washington DECA. Lori is a strategic leader, with twenty four years of experience in education. Her professional experiences include 16 years in Retail Management with Lamont's, 10 years on the board of the Washington Association of Marketing Educators, and 7 years on the Washington DECA Board of Directors, including 5 as Board Chair. Lori holds an MBA in Management and Strategy.
