"Imagine Housing - Building Eastside Communities for Neighbors in Need"

Villette Nolon

Interim Executive Director Imagine Housing

Introduced by: Kit Bowerman

Villette Nolon, Interim Executive Director of Imagine Housing, will discuss the past, present and future of this community spirited organization providing low-income housing on the Eastside.

In 1987, Imagine Housing began life as St. Andrew’s Housing Group – the dream of community members determined to make East King County livable and affordable for our neighbors in need. In 2011, the name was changed to Imagine Housing to more broadly reflect their mission to  build and operate permanent affordable rental communities and provide support within those communities.

Their first development was built in Issaquah in 1992 and they presently have 13 existing properties, 1 property under construction and one property in the pre-development stage. Today they have 485 affordable rental homes for more than 1100 residents on the Greater Eastside.
