"Eastside Homeless - From Homelessness to Housing, One Man at a Time"

Steve Roberts

Executive Director Congregations for the Homeless

Introduced by: Bob Holert

Steve will share the plight of the homeless in our area. His presentation will consist of a brief overview of the homeless situation on the Eastside, and current efforts of the cities and communities to address it. Including why there is no need to be homeless on the Eastside this winter.

This is a subject many of us have little or no knowledge of in its most personal form. You may know someone who was or may be homeless but imagine if you were in this situation! How would you handle it? How would you feel? What would you do? Where would you go for help?

Find out how organizations like Congregations for the Homeless pave the way for homeless men on the Eastside to break the cycle of homelessness and strive to lead a stable and productive life.

Please join us to hear Steve and the efforts of his and other Eastside organizations to help elevate this personal nightmare for one man at a time!
