Michèle Heffron will give a brief overview of the Club, including its history, some stats about Bellevue, the kids they serve, and how the Club has grown and plans to continue to grow. Michele will be available to give the group a tour of the new facility for those who are interested.
Our meeting is at the Bellevue Boys & Girls Club New Main Clubhouse location, just north of the old clubhouse in Bellevue, between the Bellevue Mall and Main Street on 100th Ave. NE. The meeting will be held in the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club Tutoring Center and Conference Room on the upper level.
NOTE: Parking is across the street at the Bellevue Park parking lot!
About the Speaker
As Director of Development, Michèle oversees resource development including, major gifts, planned giving, corporate and community relations. She has lead efforts on a $23.5 million Capital Campaign to fund the construction of a new Main Clubhouse in Downtown Bellevue, a new Fieldhouse in Hidden Valley; and a Teen Center in East Bellevue. All three projects are complete and serving Bellevue youth ages 2 1/2 - 19.
Previous to joining the staff at Boys & Girls Clubs in Bellevue, Michèle served as a nonprofit consultant and as the Executive Director of a nonprofit family foundation. Her professional experience in development, fund-raising, corporate communications and community outreach, spans a broad range of organizations including the Seattle Times Company, BNBuilders, and The Pacific Institute.
