Three years ago Tom Helbling was diagnosed with leukemia.  With a perfect match donor from Germany, Max Korell, 23 years old, was able to save Tom’s life.

Girish Bhatia also shared his personal donor story.

About the Speaker

Tori Fairhurst is the Be The Match Community Engagement Representative covering Washington and Alaska. Tori is a Spokane native, graduate of Gonzaga Prep and University, and moved to Olympia 24 years ago. Prior to joining Be The Match in August 2016, she worked at Puget Sound Blood Center recruiting blood donors.
